COLUMBIA, KY -- Lindsey Wilson freshman Stellah Sang has been named Mid-South Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week ending September 17, 2006, according to the conference.

Sang, an Eldoret, Kenya, native, won the Berea (Ky.) College Invitational over the weekend for her second straight win.
Sang ran the 5,000 meter course in 18 minutes and 58 seconds, to set the course record.

The player of the week award is her second consecutive of the season and the second of her career.

The Blue Raider harriers return to action at 9:30 a.m. CT on Saturday, September 30, as Lindsey Wilson travels to the Greater Louisville Classic.
