The Blue Raider came up short against Warren Wilson 55-40 in just the second meet in women's swimming history at the college.

Sophomore Deah Reese picked up her first collegiate swimming win in the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:17.03 and newcomer Sarah Wood took first place in the 500-freestyle with a time of 5:46.19.

Spaulding topped her earlier second-place finish with a win in the 100-breaststroke, finishing in 1:13.95, which was more than seven seconds faster than the nearest competition.
