LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College bowling team finished 7th out of 10 teams at the Hammer Bluegrass Classic on October 14-15.

The Blue Raiders finished with 7,617 pins in six games. McKendree (Ill.) College's Purple team won the tournament with 8,886 pins.
Senior Dustin Beard finished in seventh place with a 185.83 average in six games. In his final game, Beard rolled a team-high 241 to propel him into the top-10.

Junior Edwin Martz finished the tournament in eighth place bowling a 184.33 average in six games. Martz bowled a high game of 216.

Lindsey Wilson junior Jeff Bivins finished 15th with an average of 162.5, while sophomore Alex Hey averaged 157.17 to finish 20th overall.

Blue Raider freshman Aaron Hester completed the Lindsey Wilson squad finishing 32nd with an average of 140.17.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on November 4-5 as the Blue Raiders compete in the Brunswick Coca-Cola Southern Classic in Marietta, Georgia.
