COLUMBIA, Ky. -- In the first ever Blue Raider Duals, the 15th ranked Lindsey Wilson College wrestling team picked up three straight wins with dominating performances against Calumet College of St. Joseph's (Ind.), West Virginia University Institute of Technology and Shorter (Ga.) University on Sunday at Biggers Sports Center.
Freshman Harrison Courtney registered three straight pins and freshman Jacob Bradford tallied two falls and a decision to lead the Blue Raiders. Newcomer Myron Bradbury added an equally impressive pair of technical falls and a decision in dominating fashion.
Lindsey Wilson won 25 matches on the day with just five losses as it topped Calumet 42-6, West Virginia Tech 49-0 and Shorter 26-12.
The Blue Raiders had built a 14-0 lead against Shorter before Zach McCornick was pinned and Taylor Doan and Teddy Furnish each lost by decision to give Shorter its 12 team points.
Lindsey Wilson finished the duals with six total pins, including five combined by Bradford and Courtney.
