PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team is tied for 11th after the first round of the NAIA National Tournament at Indiana National Golf Club.
The Blue Raiders fired an 11-over par 299 and sit 18 strokes behind first-round leader and defending national champion Oklahoma City University (281).
Lindsey Wilson sophomore Carlos Navarro and freshman Travis Radford led the Blue Raiders with a one-over par 73 over the 6,950-yard, par 72 course.
The pair is tied for 20th in the 144-man field.
Sophomore Abraham Gali is tied for 60th following his 76 and senior Kyle Andreas is tied for 77th with a 77. Senior Zach Wilson is tied for 123rd after shooting an 81.
Oklahoma Christian University's Bruno Buccolo and Oklahoma City's Daniel Mitchell are tied atop the leader board after a four-under par 68.
Lindsey Wilson continues play at 7 a.m. CDT on Wednesday in the second round.
