Junior Carlos Navarro is tied after Bluegrass' first round.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men’s golf team leads after today’s first-round of the Bluegrass Fall Invitational hosted by Georgetown (Ky.) College.

The Blue Raiders shot a team-total of two-under par 286 over the 6,852-yard, par 72, Cherry Blossom Golf Club. Campbellsville (Ky.) University is second with a team-total of 291 and Cumberland (Tenn.) University is third with a team-total of 300.

Lindsey Wilson junior Carlos Navarro and Campbellsville’s Scott Webb are tied atop the leaderboard after each carded a two-under 70.

Lindsey Wilson junior Abraham Gali is in third following his one-under par 71 and sophomore Travis Radford is fourth after an even-par round of 72.

Freshman Ross Crowe shot a career-best 73 and sits in sixth position, while fellow freshman Joe Hood is 18th after a first-round total of 77.

Three Lindsey Wilson individuals made their season debut today.

Freshman Ross McKen shot a 78 and is in 25th position, while sophomore Zach Charbonneau and freshman Chris Lewis are tied for 31st following rounds of 80.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Friday for the final round of the Bluegrass Fall Invitational.
