DANSVILLE, Mich. -- A trip north to Michigan brought the Lindsey Wilson College cycling team a first-place finish in the Michigan State University Road Rampage on Saturday and four top-five finishes at the University of Michigan Criterium on Sunday in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The Blue Raiders opened the weekend in Dansville, battling the Spartans on their home road course. Brooke Crum led Lindsey Wilson with 63 team points for her third-place finish in the women's "A" race. Allie Dragoo followed close behind in fifth for 51 points, while Sarah Lukas crossed in seventh place to earn 40 points.

Clayton Omer tallied a large score as well, finishing fourth in the men's "A" race for 57 points, while Josh Nagode tallied 30 points with a ninth-place finish. Chris Bogedin (13th), Kyle Foley (14th) and Phillup Capala (15th) all finished in the top 20 and earned 41 team points combined.

Scott Hoffner recorded the lone first-place finish over the weekend for Lindsey Wilson in the men's "B" race for 48 points.

Rounding out the Blue Raider finishers was Zach Dorsey in fourth place for eight points in the men's "D" road race.

Lindsey Wilson finished first overall with 324 points, topping host Michigan State in second place with 257 points, while Northwestern (Ill.) University rounded out the top three with 241 points.

Lindsey Wilson stayed in Michigan on Sunday to take part in the University of Michigan Criterium where they placed seven cyclists in the top 10 of four different divisions.

Bogedin paced the Blue Raiders with a third-place finish in the men's "A" for 58 points, while Kip Spaude crossed in sixth place for 41 points. Omer took 11th place in the "A" race to earn 19 points followed by Nagode in 16th place (five points) and Capala in 18th place (three points).

Hoffner also earned a third-place finish in the men's "B" race to earn 31 points, while Matt Dooley turned in a fifth-place finish, recording 23 team points.

The women's cyclists combined for 94 team points in the "A" race, led by Crum in fourth place (52 points) and Dragoo finishing ninth (27 points). Lukas crossed the line in 12th place, earning 15 points towards the team total.

Dorsey competed in the men's "D" race in the criterium as well, finishing seventh to round out the Blue Raider scorers with three points.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on April 24-25 at the Purdue (Ind.) University Road Race, with Road Nationals to follow May 7-9 in Madison, Wis.
