ADA, Ohio. -- Junior Keith Klink and freshman Jacob Shirley each placed fourth at 125 and 149 pounds, respectively, for the Lindsey Wilson College wrestling team at the Ohio Northern Invitational on Saturday.

Shirley avenged a loss from the Cumberland (Tenn.) University dual on Nov. 17 with a 9-8 decision against Andrew Shoultz.

Shoultz handled Shirley 7-5 in their first match, but on Saturday, Shirley scored on a takedown as time expired in the third period to record the one-point win. On the day, Shirley wrapped up the invitational with a 5-1 record, the most wins by any Blue Raider.

Klink finished 3-1 for his fourth-place finish, while the only other Lindsey Wilson wrestler to place was freshman Brian Thompson at sixth with a 4-2 record at 133 pounds. Joining Klink and Thompson with a winning record was heavyweight Zach Marshall (2-1).

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 4 p.m. CT on Dec. 11 against Spartanburg Methodist (S.C.) College, followed by a match against University of North Carolina-Pembroke at 5:30 p.m.
