Junior Christopher Bogedin won the men's

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College cycling team earned a win in the first cyclocross conference race of the season on Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at Purdue University.

Sophomore Michael Sovers gave the Blue Raiders a strong start on Saturday, finishing eighth in the men's "B" race, followed by sophomore Kelsey Markham taking second place in the women's "A" race.

The Blue Raiders swept the podium spots in the men's "A" race with junior Christopher Bogedin, freshman Alder Martz and sophomore Matthew Dooley finishing in first, second and third place, respectively.

Lindsey Wilson kept its momentum on Sunday, starting with Markham winning the women's "A" race and Sovers taking second in the men's "B" race.

The men's "A" was another successful event for the Blue Raider riders as Bogedin and Martz closed out the event with first and second place finishes, respectively, while Dooley crossed the line in fourth.
