COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College baseball program has signed Christian Talley to a letter-of-intent the school announced on Wednesday.

Talley joins a program that he's been around most of his life. Mike Talley -- Christian's father -- is the Blue Raiders' head coach.

"Most dads are lucky to coach their sons in little league," Mike Talley said. "But very few get to coach their sons at the collegiate level; I'm incredibly lucky and privileged to be able to coach Christian at a place that means so much to both of us."

Christian Talley hit .362 this season with two home runs and 15 runs batted in for an Adair County High team that ended its season with a 6-19 record. He added 13 stolen bases during his senior season with a .506 on-base percentage.
