COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Four school records fell as the Lindsey Wilson College track & field team competed at the 2007 DePauw (Ind.) University Indoor Invitational over the weekend.
Lindsey Wilson sophomore Cassie Niersel, senior Meagan Crouse, and freshmen Grace Korir and Stellah Sang set a new school record in the women's distance medley.Their time of 12 minutes and 52.20 seconds not only won the event, but set a national provisional qualifying mark. The Blue Raiders beat the three-year old record by nearly 28 seconds.

Stellah Sang set a new record in the women's 800 meter dash with a time of 2:17.06. Junior Amber Cannon set a school record in the women's 200 meter dash with a time of 26.95 seconds. Cannon beat her old record by 16 hundreds of a second.

Blue Raider freshman Pascal Milien continued the record-setting day with a time of 6.54 in the men's 55 meter dash. Milien's time is also a national provisional qualifier.

Lindsey Wilson senior Jamaine Gordon set a new national qualifying mark with a jump of 47 feet and 24 inches in the men's triple jump.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 17 as they travel to Greenscastle, Indiana to compete in the DePauw Indoor Classic.
