GREENSCASTLE, Ind. -- Individuals of the Lindsey Wilson College Track & Field team broke five school records at the 2007 DePauw Indoor Classic over the weekend.

Five individuals for the women's Track & Field team broke four school records and four qualified for Nationals in four separate events. One individual for the men's Track & Field team broke a school record and earned a national provisional qualifier.
Lindsey Wilson senior Meagan Crouse, sophomore Cassie Niersel, and freshmen Grace Korir and Stellah Sang set a new school record of 12:43.05 in the women's distance medley. The Blue Raiders earned a national qualifier for Nationals. The individuals together finished first in the event by over 40 seconds.

Stellah Sang set a new school record and a new meet record in the women's 600 meter run finishing first in the event. Sang's mark of 1:38.06 beat the old record by .49 seconds and earned her a spot at Nationals.

Junior Amber Cannon set a new school record in the women's 200 meter dash with a time of 26.90 as she finished fourth in the event. Cannon beat the record she set last week by .05 of a second.

Blue Raider freshman Grace Korir finished with a time of 10:54.44 in the women's 3,000 meter run to set a new school record. Korir beat the old school record by 9.37 seconds as she finished third in the event.

Blue Raider Freshman Pascal Milien broke the school record with a time of 6.51 in the men's 55 meter dash earning him a national provisional qualifier. Milien broke his previous record of 6.54 set last weekend.

The men's and women's track & field indoor Nationals will be held from March 6-10 in Johnson City, Tennessee. The men's and women's outdoor track & field season begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, as the Blue Raiders travel to compete in the Berea Invitational.
