COLUMBIA, Ky. -- No. 3-seed Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College scored in the fourth minute and never looked back en route to a 6-0 win today over visiting King (Tenn.) College in the opening round of the 50th NAIA Men's Soccer National Tournament at Walter S. Reuling Stadium on Lindsey Wilson's campus.

The Blue Raiders (18-1-1) advance to the national championship site in Fresno, Calif. for the remainder of the tournament.

The opening round is being played on 15 campuses throughout the nation. Host Fresno Pacific (Calif.) University earned a bye into the second round as the tournament's host.

Lindsey Wilson freshman forward Moses Aduny scored three goals and assisted on another to lead the Blue Raiders to the 6-0 win.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore midfielder Frederick Were opened the scoring in the fourth minute with a goal off senior midfielder Turlien Romulus' assist to give the Blue Raiders the 1-0 lead.

In the 17th minute, senior midfielder Nathaniel Jafta ran onto Aduny's cross and found the back of an empty net to push the lead to 2-0. Aduny scored the game's next two goals a little more than a minute apart.

Aduny scored his first on an unassisted goal at the 29:15 mark from the top of the penalty area to give Lindsey Wilson the 3-0 lead. At the 30:23 mark, freshman Rasmus Jacobsen sent the ball deep inside the box and Aduny finished for the 4-0 lead.

King (13-7-1) threatened early in the second half with a pair of good chances as freshman midfielder Cartter Kerr hit the post in the 51st minute and freshman forward Tom Windspear sent a shot just wide in the 52nd minute.

The Blue Raiders withstood the King challenge and regained the momentum with a pair of goals in the 62nd and 63rd minutes. Romulus and Aduny each netted a goal a little more than a minute apart to send the Blue Raiders to the 6-0 win and into the second round.

Lindsey Wilson advances to face No. 14-seed Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) University, who defeated Lee (Tenn.) University 2-0 today.

The second round begins on Dec. 1 and concludes with the national championship game on Dec. 6.
