COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team hosts Siena Heights (Mich.) University in the opening round of the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championships, according to the national tournament released today by the NAIA.

The top-seeded Blue Raiders are scheduled to host Siena Heights at noon CT on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Walter S. Reuling Stadium. The winner advances to the Embry-Riddle University Soccer Field in Daytona Beach, Fla. for the remainder of the tournament.

The 31-team field will be trimmed to 16 following the opening round played at on-campus sites. The 16-team second round begins on Dec. 1-2 with the national finals scheduled for Dec. 6 at Embry-Riddle.

Lindsey Wilson enters the national tournament after earning the Mid-South Conference's automatic bid. The Blue Raiders (18-1) won the MSC regular season and tournament titles and are riding a 13-game winning streak.

Lindsey Wilson -- who is the 2004 and 2006 NAIA National Champions -- is 15-8-2 all time in its 10th appearance in the national tournament.

Siena Heights earned the automatic bid into the national tournament after winning the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament Championship.

The Saints (11-5-4) are 2-4 all-time at the national tournament in their fifth appearance.
