MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -- The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team split four games over the weekend at the Papa John's Invitational hosted by Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) University.
On Friday night, Lindsey Wilson swept Judson (Ill.) College 25-14, 25-14, 25-20 in the Blue Raiders' opener of the two-day classic. Lindsey Wilson dropped its nightcap with host Mount Vernon Nazarene 25-13, 25-13, 26-24.
On Saturday, the Blue Raiders lost to Marian (Ind.) College 28-26, 25-23, 20-25, 25-20 before rebounding for a 25-6, 25-6, 25-14 win over St. Catharine College in a non-conference match.
Following the weekend play, Lindsey Wilson is 17-7 on the season.
The Blue Raiders return to action at 7 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Oct. 21, as Lindsey Wilson hosts University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) at Biggers Sports Center.
