JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- Seven Lindsey Wilson College track & field individuals are competing this weekend at the NAIA Indoor Nationals.

The Lindsey Wilson College women finished tied for 23rd with eight points. The men did not score.
Lindsey Wilson senior Meagan Crouse, sophomore Cassie Niersel and freshmen Grace Korir and Stellah Sang finished 12th in the women's distance medley relay. The Blue Raiders' time of 12:38.65 missed qualifying for the finals by 12.45 seconds.

Despite not qualifying, the Blue Raiders set a school record. The quartet beat the previous mark (12:43.05) by more than four seconds.

Lindsey Wilson freshman Amanda Johnson finished fourth in the women's 3,000 meters race walk with a time of 16:30.97. Tina Peters of Goshen (Ind.) College won the event with a time of 14:50.36.

Johnson, a Morganfield, Kentucky, native, earned Lindsey Wilson four points for her fourth place finish.

After finishing 11th in the preliminaries of the men's 60 meter dash with a time of 6.96, Lindsey Wilson freshman Pascal Milien finished 10th out of the 12 runners to make the two-heat semifinals.

Milien misses the six-man finals by 13 one-hundredths of a second.

Freshman Stellah Sang claimed the four points earned today by the women's track & field team. Sang finished fourth in the women's 800 meter run with a time of 2:16.93.

Lindsey Wilson senior Jamaine Gordon finished out the day competing in the men's triple jump. Gordon earned an eighth place finish with a jump of 48-02.75, two feet short of claiming first place.
