COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's track & field team signed Morgan Gagle to a NAIA scholarship, the school announced on Tuesday.

Gagle, a Danville, Ky., native, will join the Blue Raiders in the 2008-09 season.

"Morgan is going to be an excellent addition to our program and to Lindsey Wilson College," Lindsey Wilson coach Edwin Hagans said."She has a wonderful upside for throwing and is willing to test herself with other throwing implements."

Gagle finished 13th at the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Class 2A State Track Meet Discus with a distance of 78-7 feet. Her personal best in the discus is 97-2 feet.

The Boyle County High product also completes in the shot put. Her personal best in the shot is 27-7.5 feet.
