MOBILE, Ala. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team advanced into the national quarterfinals today with a 6-0 win over Union (Ky.) College at the Mobile Tennis Center.

The third-seeded Blue Raiders face No. 6-seed California Baptist University -- who beat unseeded Cumberland (Tenn.) University 5-4 -- at 9 a.m. CT on Wednesday in the NAIA National Championship quarterfinals.

Lindsey Wilson (16-3) swept all three doubles points as senior Candela Castanon and sophomore Jessica Weyreuter defeated Union's Camila Cunha and Yeris Vargas 8-1 in the No. 1 doubles. Lindsey Wilson junior Fadzai Mawisire and freshman Darya Yablonskaya beat Ximena Aguilar and Katie Sakalauskas 8-4 to earn the team's second point.

The Blue Raiders' No. 3 doubles team of sophomore Agnieszka Wojtowicz and freshman Laurie Anciaux won by default.

Union -- playing with five players due to an injury -- defaulted at the No. 6 singles to give Lindsey Wilson a 4-0 lead.
