COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team is the No. 7 seed in the NAIA National Championships beginning next week in Mobile, Ala.
The Blue Raiders (14-5) earn one of the eight byes in the 24-team tournament played May 12-16 at the Mobile Tennis Center.
Lindsey Wilson faces the winner of Malone (Ohio) College and Savannah College of Arts & Design at 1 p.m. CT on Tuesday, May 13.
The Blue Raiders are in the same quarter of the bracket as No. 2 seed Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University (17-2).
Two-time defending champion Auburn University Montgomery (Ala.) is the tournament's top seed. The Senators (22-1) have won seven NAIA national titles in the program's history.
Lindsey Wilson enters the tournament winners of nine in a row, including the program's first-ever NAIA Region XI title.
The Blue Raiders are 3-2 this season against the tournament field. Lindsey Wilson lost to AUM and Union (Ky.) College while beating Berry (Ga.) College, Bethel (Tenn.) College and Shorter (Ga.) College.
