GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College baseball team lost their opening round game of the Mid-South Conference Tournament 3-0 to host Georgetown (Ky.) College today at Robert Wilson Field.

The fifth-seeded Blue Raiders (19-29) face top-seeded University of the Cumberlands -- who lost to Pikeville (Ky.) College 4-2 on Thursday -- at 10 a.m. CT on Friday in an elimination game of the double-elimination tournament.

Lindsey Wilson managed just four hits in the 3-0 loss.

Georgetown pitcher Kevin Rueff hurled the complete game shutout to advance into tomorrow's winner bracket game against Campbellsville (Ky.) University. Rueff allowed four hits and three walks while striking out three Lindsey Wilson batters.
