COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College freshman Andre' Santos has been named Mid-South Conference men's tennis player of the week for the week ending April 13.

Santos helped the No. 11-ranked Blue Raiders to a 3-0 week by going undefeated in singles and doubles.

The Brazil native won each of his three singles matches in straight sets and paired with freshman Andrews Moraes to win all three doubles matches.

Santos defeated Shorter (Ga.) College's No 3-seed 6-1, 6-4 and Berry (Ga.) College's No. 3-seed 6-3, 6-4. He capped the week with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Campbellsville (Ky.) University's third seed.

From the No. 2 doubles, Santos and Moraes beat their counterparts from Berry and Campbellsville 8-3 and swept Shorter's No. 2 doubles 8-0.

Lindsey Wilson is 10-5 on the season and enters Thursday's Mid-South Conference Tournament as the top seed after a perfect 5-0 regular season.

The Blue Raiders face the winner of Campbellsville and West Virginia Tech in the MSC semifinals at 12:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, April 17, at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville.
