COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College sophomore Jessica Weyreuter has been named Mid-South Conference women's tennis player of the week for the week ending April 13.

Weyreuter won each of her three singles matches in straight sets. She paired with senior Candela Castanon to win all three doubles matches.

The Montecarlo, Argentina, native, helped the Blue Raiders to wins over Shorter (Ga.) College, Berry (Ga.) College and Campbellsville (Ky.) University.

Weyreuter dropped just five games in her three singles wins and seven games in her three doubles matches.

Lindsey Wilson is 11-3 on the season and enters Thursday's Mid-South Conference Tournament as the top seed after a perfect 4-0 regular season.

The No. 4-ranked Blue Raiders face the winner of Campbellsville and West Virginia Tech in the MSC semifinals at 1 p.m. CT on Thursday, April 17, at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville.
