COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson senior Leigh Ann Moore has been named NAIA Region XI softball pitcher of the week for her play during the week ending April 13.

Moore adds the regional honor to her Mid-South Conference award named earlier this week.

The Dawson Springs, Ky., native, won all three of her games she started this week while allowing just two runs and seven hits while striking out 24 hitters in her 14 innings of work.

Moore (12-5) leads the team this season in wins and complete games (12). She is second on the team with a 1.36 earned run average.

Lindsey Wilson is 25-14 on the season and riding an eight game winning streak into today's 4 p.m. CT game with MSC foe University of the Cumberlands at Joe Johnson Field.
