COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College baseball team dropped a doubleheader to visiting Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University today at Raider Field.

The Blue Raiders drop to 19-26 overall this season with the 3-2 and 6-4 losses. Freed-Hardman improves to 29-11 with the wins.

In game one, Lindsey Wilson sophomore Jeremy Ezell allowed just two hits and one earned run in a 3-2 loss.

Three Lindsey Wilson errors proved to be costly as the visiting Lions scored a single run in each of the first, third and fourth innings to take a 3-0 lead.

The Blue Raiders scored twice in the bottom of the fourth on RBI singles by senior Daniel Rector and sophomore Zach Pritchard. Pritchard finished the game 2-for-3 with the RBI.

Freed-Hardeman pitchers Joey Gildea and Josh Hester hurled 3-2/3 innings of scoreless relief to secure the win.

Ezell (0-2) suffered the loss allowing all three runs, while issuing five walks and striking out five Lion hitters.

In the nightcap, Freed-Hardeman's Daniel Peck's two-run home run in the eighth inning proved to be the game-winning in the Lion's 6-4 win.

Rector and senior Ace Adcock each contributed two hits in their final home game as a Blue Raider and sophomore Andrew Johnson went 1-for-2 with a pair of RBIs.

Sophomore David Pis (1-3) suffered the loss in relief, allowing two runs on four hits in four innings of work.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 2 p.m. CT on Wednesday, April 16, as the Blue Raiders travel to Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University in Nashville.
