COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College softball team swept a four game series against visiting West Virginia University Institute of Technology on Saturday at Joe Johnson Field.
After rain postponed Friday's scheduled doubleheader, Lindsey Wilson beat the Golden Bears 15-1, 16-1, 8-0 and the series finale by a forfeit.
The Blue Raiders improve to 25-14 overall and 9-7 in the Mid-South Conference. West Virginia Tech falls to 3-23 and 0-14 in conference play.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 4 p.m. CT on Tuesday, April 15, as the Blue Raiders host Mid-South Conference foe University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) at Joe Johnson Field.
