BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Lindsey Wilson College junior Koji Hashiyama qualified for the NAIA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend.

Hashiyama finished with a time of one hour, 14 minutes and 51.9 seconds in the half-marathon in the third annual Circle of Life Indiana University Mini-Marathon.

The time is good enough to qualify Hashiyama for the NAIA National Championships May 20-24 in St. Louis, Mo.

Hashiyama finished the 13.1 mile course in fourth in the field of 661men and women.

Hashiyama joins sophomore race walker Amanda Johnson as Lindsey Wilson's automatic qualifiers.
