Sophomore Amanda Johnson broke her own school record at Cedarville.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- A pair of Lindsey Wilson College track & field student-athletes competed at the Cedarville (Ohio) University Collegiate Outdoor Open.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore Amanda Johnson broke her own school record in the 3,000 meter Race Walk with a time of 15 minutes 40.40 seconds.

Johnson bested her previous mark of 15:47.72 set earlier this season at Berea (Ky.) College Invitational.

Johnson won the event to earn the Blue Raiders 10 points.

Freshman Megan Furnish finished second with a time of 19:53.60 to earn eight points.

The Lindsey Wilson pair helped the Blue Raiders earn 18 points and an eighth place finish in the 10-team field.

The Lindsey Wilson track and field team returns to action on April 12 as the Blue Raiders travel to University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) Invitational in Williamsburg, Ky.
