WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) swept a four-game series from the Lindsey Wilson College baseball team over the weekend.

Lindsey Wilson -- who managed just two runs in the four-game series -- falls to 13-17 overall and 3-8 in the Mid-South Conference. Cumberlands improves to 29-6 overall and 10-1 in conference play.

Cumberlands pitcher Adam Blakey hurled a complete game two-hitter as the Patriots beat the Blue Raiders 9-0.

Senior Mark Jurczynski and frehman Joseph Willis were the only Blue Raiders to manage a hit in the game as Blakey struck out nine LWC batters en route to the win.

Cumberlands scattered nine hits led by Jeff Poff's four hits. Cumberlands' Javier Gali-Rodriquez added a home run and three RBIs in the opening game win.

In Saturday's second game, freshman starting pitcher Jeremy Greene suffered a hard-luck loss allowing four runs on just six hits.

Cumberlands starter Tyler Lee matched Greene's performance with a one-run, four-hit complete game. Offensively, Cumberlands' Trevor Urbanick doubled, scored twice and drove in a run in the 4-1 win.

In Sunday's opener, Cumberlands received its third straight complete game as starter Brandon Williams shut out the Blue Raiders 2-0.

Williams allowed five hits while striking out 10 Lindsey Wilson hitters.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore starting pitcher Luis Parra allowed two runs on nine hits in a complete game loss. Parra added eight strike outs on the day.

Cumberlands Dylan Holt recorded three hits in the game and Josh Wood added a hit and a RBI in the win.

In Sunday's nightcap, Cumberlands' Jon Silverman hurled a one-run, five-hit complete game win to beat the Blue Raiders 2-1.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore starter Cody Wales suffered the loss allowing two runs on nine hits over 5-1/3 innings.

Willis drove in the only Blue Raider run going 1-for-3 at the plate with a RBI.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Tuesday, April 1, as the Blue Raiders host Cumberland (Tenn.) University at Metcalfe County High School in Edmonton, Ky.
