JACKSON, Tenn. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women’s basketball team faces Oklahoma Baptist University today in the NAIA National Tournament’s opening round at Oman Arena.
The No. 7-seeded Blue Raiders search for their first-ever national tournament win in the program’s fifth appearance in a 4 p.m. CT tip-off. The game can be heard on 93.5 WAIN-FM and at lindseyathletics.com beginning at 3:30 p.m. CT with the pre-game show.
Both teams enter today’s game after receiving an at-large bid following a loss in their conference tournament finals. Lindsey Wilson (21-11) fell to Georgetown College, while the second-seeded Lady Bison lost to Oklahoma City University.
The Lady Bison (29-4) have winning streaks this season of five, eight and 15 games. They opened the season ranked No. 20 in the preseason coaches’ poll and quickly jumped to No. 6 in the first poll of the regular season.
