COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College baseball team split a doubleheader with visiting Campbellsville (Ky.) University on Sunday at Raider Field.

No. 20-ranked Campbellsville beat the Blue Raiders 3-1 in the opener. Lindsey Wilson won the second game 4-1.

The Blue Raiders won two out of three in the weekend series that was moved from Campbellsville due to the wet conditions.

In game one, Lindsey Wilson managed just three hits in a 3-1 loss.

Campbellsville starting pitcher Brian Edelen surrendered just one run on three hits to pick up his first win of the season.

Lindsey Wilson junior centerfielder Nathan Bray provided a pair of hits and drove in the only Blue Raider run.

Freshman Jose Castro (3-2) suffered the loss, allowing three runs -- all in the first inning -- on three hits in 5-1/3 innings of work. Castro also struck out six Campbellsville hitters while allowing five walks.

In game two, Lindsey Wilson sophomore third baseman Zach Pritchard’s two-run double capped a three-run fourth inning in the Blue Raiders’ 4-1 win.

Senior shortstop Alex Arango hit his third home run of the season and freshman right fielder Joseph Willis drove in his 17th run of the season to help the Blue Raiders to their sixth win in seven games.

Freshman starting pitcher Jeremy Greene (2-2) hurled a complete game for his second win of the season. Greene allowed just one run on five hits while striking out a pair.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 3:30 p.m. CT today as the Blue Raiders travel to Union (Tenn.) University in Jackson, Tenn.
