COLUMBIA, Ky. – Three members of the Lindsey Wilson football team have been selected to the Community Trust Bank 2016 Kentucky's Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team, presented by the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Oldham played in all 11 games for the Blue Raiders this season, accumulating 47 total tackles, including 27 solo tackles. Oldham led Lindsey Wilson with 4.5 sacks, and had eight tackles for loss along with two forced fumbles. He earned Second Team Mid-South Conference West Division honors this season.
Ford had 55 tackles during the year including 38 solo efforts in his 11 games. He also recorded two interceptions, one of five Blue Raiders with multiple picks. Cooks earned Second Team MSC West Division honors this season.
Sublett racked up 52 rushes for 355 yards with three touchdowns on the ground. He caught 14 passes for 103 yards, averaging 43.1 all-purpose yards per contest.
The Kentucky Collegiate All Commonwealth Team is a pre-season recognition award for football players attending a Kentucky College or University. The Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team represents the best college football players that the state of Kentucky has to offer, while their dedication to the game has contributed significantly to their teams. Players that exhibit this unique leadership skill were nominated by their University/College to be recognized as a member of the Kentucky All-Commonwealth Team.
Lindsey Wilson comes off an 8-3 record in 2015 and the program's second-straight appearance in the NAIA Football Championships Series.
