COLUMBIA, Ky. – Three Blue Raiders earned All Mid-South Conference honors, conference officials announced on Friday.
Osnowitz, a senior from Bloomington, Ill., picks up an MSC award for the second time in his career as he earned All-MSC Second Team honors last season.
Osnowitz leads the Blue Raiders with a .384 batting average, 71 hits, 13 doubles and 12 home runs. His slugging percentage of .649 and on-base percentage of .493 are also tops for Lindsey Wilson, while his 43 RBIs are the second most on the team.
His 12 home runs are the most in the MSC and ninth most in the NAIA. His 120 total bases are the second most in the MSC and 14th nationally.
Andino picks up his first-career MSC honor. The senior from Bayamon, Puerto Rico is batting .333 on the year with 68 hits, nine doubles and three home runs. Andino has started 52 games this season and holds a .993 fielding percentage with just one error.
Smith, a senior from Nashville, Tenn., also picks up his first-career MSC honor. The lefthander leads the team with 13 starts on the mound this season and holds a 3.07 earned run average. Smith is 4-4 on the year with two complete games and one save in 88.0 innings pitched. He has struck out 60 batters while issuing just 18 walks with opponents batting .262 against him.
Andino also earned his way onto the Mid-South Gold Glove team after posting a .993 fielding percentage -- one of the top three percentages from outfielders in the conference.
The Blue Raiders face Cumberland (Tenn.) in the opening round of the Mid-South Conference Tournament set to begin at noon CT at Egnew Park on Saturday.
