KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A pair of Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis student-athletes has earned National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American honors, NAIA officials announced on Sunday.
Bogajo finished his freshman season with a 19-5 singles record playing all 24 matches as the Blue Raiders' top singles seed. He finished with a 13-12 doubles mark playing all but three matches as LWC's top doubles seed.
In addition to his All-American honors, Bogajo was named Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year and Intercollegiate Tennis Association East Region Rookie of the Year.
Morales completed his sophomore season with a 23-2 singles record playing all 25 matches as the Blue Raiders' No. 2 seed. Morales finished the season with a 21-4 doubles record.
Morales repeats as a NAIA Second-Team All-American. In addition to earning All-American honors the last two seasons, Morales was also selected the 2011 MSC Freshman of the Year.
Bogajo and Morales were among 16 student-athletes on each of the first and second teams. Eighteen other student-athletes were named honorable mention.
Lindsey Wilson finished 2011 with a 19-6 record, including winning the MSC regular season and tournament championships. The Blue Raiders' season ended with a second round loss in the NAIA National Tournament.
