COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Fifteen future Blue Raiders have signed with Lindsey Wilson College football, coach Chris Oliver announced today. The 15 additions increase the 2010 class to 53.

This year's 53 signees join 65 student-athletes that signed in 2009 to make up Lindsey Wilson's first team in more than 75 years.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College signed Natalie Sneed to a letter of intent for the women's golf program, the school announced on Thursday.

The Columbia, Ky., native will join the Blue Raiders for the 2010-11 school year.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team earned its third consecutive and seventh overall trip to the NAIA National Championship. The Blue Raiders received a No. 8 seed and will face top seeded and third ranked Vanguard (Calif.) University in the first round at 2:15 p.m. CT on Thursday, March 18 in Jackson, Tenn.

"We're excited to be a part of this great field and for the opportunity to compete against one of the very best teams in the NAIA," Lindsey Wilson head coach John B. Wethington said. "Vanguard is a terrific team and Coach (Russ) Davis does an outstanding job. I know he will have his team ready to play."

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Morgan Paschall made sure the Lindsey Wilson College softball team had a good start in Mid-South Conference play, picking up a pair of wins against Georgetown (Ky.) College on Tuesday at Lindsey Wilson Park. The Blue Raiders won game one 7-2 and took game two 1-0.

Paschall entered in relied for Anyibell Ramirez in the third inning of game one and pitched 5.0 innings with seven strikeouts, while allowing just four hits and no runs. The Nolensville, Tenn., native followed that performance with a complete-game in game two, allowing just five hits in the shutout win with four strikeouts.

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team shut out Union (Ky.) College 9-0 on Tuesday and stayed in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll for the second consecutive week at No. 15.

The Blue Raiders began the season ranked fifth in the preseason poll, but dropped 10 spots after losing to Shorter (Ga.) College in the season opener on Thursday, March 4.
